Proposal - Why I chose the brief.
Proposal - For my media research practical coursework I have decided to do 'print'. After my preliminary task I decided that my print skills were more progressed than my video skills. I also have an interest in music and I feel there is a gap in the market for a music magazine aimed for the teenage market, and I have a ready audience from school where I can gather information and statistics from, which will hopefully work to my advantage.I enjoy reading magazines too and have a good idea of how they are presented and the layout. I have decided to base my magazine on dance music too, including funky house music, drum and bass and dub-step, I have decided to aim my magazine at teenagers to late 20's both genders focusing on clubbing and dance music it will be an issue for summer 2010, focusing on festivals and holidays and top clubbing destinations.
